FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the timeline for a luxury bathroom renovation?
Once permits are secured and materials (like custom glass and specialized fixtures) have arrived, the active construction phase for a primary bath averages 4 to 7 weeks. We never begin demolition until all long-lead materials are secured in our warehouse, ensuring a streamlined and uninterrupted build.
How do you ensure proper waterproofing in wet rooms?
Proper waterproofing is the most critical element of a bathroom build, especially for curbless wet rooms. We utilize industry-leading, fully bonded waterproof membrane systems (such as Schluter-Kerdi) beneath all tile surfaces, extending up the walls and across the pan. This uncompromising technical standard ensures longevity and prevents any moisture migration.
Do you handle all permits and plumbing requirements?
Absolutely. As fully licensed General Contractors in Florida, Set Home Remodeling manages all architectural drawings, structural engineering, plumbing modifications, and municipal permitting. We navigate the entire regulatory process so you can enjoy a seamless experience.
Do I need to purchase my own fixtures and materials?
Absolutely. As fully licensed General Contractors in Florida, Set Home Remodeling manages all architectural drawings, structural engineering, plumbing modifications, and municipal permitting. We navigate the entire regulatory process so you can enjoy a seamless experience.
Will we have a dedicated project manager during the renovation?
Yes. You will be assigned a dedicated project director who serves as your single point of contact from conceptual design through the final walkthrough. They oversee daily site operations, coordinate our specialized tradespeople, and provide you with weekly progress updates to ensure our standards are consistently met.
